Studies for a bombard by Leonardo da Vinci. The work is part of the collection of the Atlantic Code which is kept in the Ambrosiana Library in Milan. Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (Anchiano, April 15, 1452 – Amboise, May 2, 1519) was a man of talent and universal talent of the Renaissance, considered one of the greatest geniuses of humanity. He was a scientist, philosopher, architect, painter, sculptor, draftsman, writer, set designer, anatomist, botanist, musician, engineer and designer.
The image is printed on “Acquarello” paper form the Italian Fedrigoni paper mill, on 200gr acid and chlorine free.
