Small leather bound very special journal with unique secular elm wood cover and hand made Amalfi paper. The hand made Amalfi paper is produced exclusively for Signum. Each sheet of this book is made by hand at The Antique Amalfi Paper Mill which still maintains today the techniques used to create the characteristic blurring of the original water-cutting.
The Antique Amalfi Paper Mill produces soley for us our own custom made watermarked sheets, a combination of refined watermarks of an anchor, the ancient coat of arms of the Marine Replublic of Amalfi and the Signum logo with the Florentine lily.
This book block contains 80 sheets of 100gr acid and chlorine free 100% cotton paper and is ideal for drawing, sketching and watercolours.
