Description
Musician angel by Fra Giovanni da Fiesole, real name Guido di Pietro known as Beato Angelico (Vicchio, around 1395 – Rome, 18 February 1455). The angel is a detail of the Tabernacle of the Linaioli, a marble temple by Lorenzo Ghiberti with paintings by Beato Angelico (tempera on wood 260×330 cm). The work is kept in the National Museum of San Marco in Florence.
